Lana Del Rey "Video Games" Song Review

With her self-described "gangster Nancy Sinatra" attending and crackedactress name, Lana Del Rey has a burnt attitude that's about as arresting as her admission single's apathetic majesty. Del Rey (real name Lizzy Grant) stretches her sloshed-succubus frown over an agreeable clue about amid Cat Power and Fiona Apple, as she evokes a abandoned afternoon of cheap, apathetic splendor: "Kissing in the dejected dark/Playing basin and agrarian darts/Video games?" The beautifully albino video alone adds to the air of accidental decadence.
